It was the day of my dream wedding. I was standing in front of a full length mirror looking emotionless back at my reflection. I could hear the chitter chatter of the guests as they were being escorted to their seats in the beautifully planned outdoor venue I had chosen with the wedding planner. I could hear the footsteps of the small children running up and down the halls of the cosmopolitan estate in which was being used as the dressing rooms for not only me, the bride, but the bridesmaids, groomsmen, immediate family members, and of course my soon to be husband.
I had chosen an amazing, secluded estates in south Georgia as the location of my wedding. The house was built in 1861 and was used as a slave plantation during the Civil War. It sat upon 52 acres of private land. Most of the land was covered with breath-taking white willow trees and just the slightest breeze sent white willow flower pedals gracefully gliding in the sky. I couldn't have dreamt of a more perfect location to marry the man of my dreams.
As I starred into my reflection a sort of life flash-back began in my head. All the memories of my single life, all the dates I had been on, all the trouble friends and I got into throughout the years, being a young girl dreaming on my prince in shinning armor to find me, and the day I actually met my prince. I looked down at my hands and I could see how badly the nerves were making me shake. I could feel the tears start to flood my eyes. I quickly found a chair and sat down to catch my thoughts. While looking down at my hands I fiddled with my huge engagement ring. I thought to myself "how could I have ended up so lucky?" Just as the tears began to fall the door to my dressing room slowly opened. It was my best friend in the world, Liam Payne.
"What are you doing in here babe?"
He asked.
I looked up to his face to find a huge smile spread across it.
"I-I-I'm getting married Liam."
I managed to spit out of my mouth.
He chuckled and pulled up a chair right next to me. We sat in silence for a few moments.
"Funny how things work out, isn't it?"
Liam quietly said while looking out the window upon the close to 300 guests which were waiting.
I smiled and remembered the moments that led upto this very day.
**********************************************************************************
Liam and his bandmates; Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan, were in my hometown city of New York to play in the legendary Madison Square Garden for their 7th live performance at the famous venue. Liam had invited me as a special guest to the show after we met when the boys had their very first show at MSG. We had since become the best of friends and created a brother-sister like relationship.
During their 2 week stay in NYC, I had spent quite a lot of time with all of the boys but I had a special connection with one, Niall. We hung out more with eachother than with anyone else. We would sneak out early in the morning to make quick fast food runs and sight-see the beautiful city. We had ran through the rain in central park one night and I ended up losing my hotel room key in the park so by the time we got back to the hotel I had to spend the night in Niall's room. He slept on the couch while he lent his bed to me for the night. I wasn't much of a believer of "being in love" but Niall gave me more than enough reason to start to believe.
Our quickly grown bond seemed to have been invisible to everyone... everyone except Liam. He immediately knew that Niall and I had something special. By the time the boys were back in London to finish up tour, Niall and I were making regular nightly skype calls to eachother. Liam made sure Niall had at least one hour without all the boys in the hotel room so we could have privacy during our video chats. We began a long distance relationship just a month after meeting each other for the first time. Niall was someone I was willing to take a chance with. He ended up being worth the chance.
We would skype, talk on the phone, text, and snapchat as often as we could. Which seemed to be daily. During the time got off of his tour he would make special, secret trips to New York just to see me. In later of our relationship, when things got more serious, he would fly me to his hometown in Ireland to meet his family and friends. But on one special trip to Mullingar, Niall had planned a very quiet day with just the two of us.
We spent most of the day at his private home in the country scene of Ireland. We simply just relaxed and laid in bed watching films while eating fruits, nandos, and other small meals. Once the sun began to set Niall told me to get ready for a walk around his land. Again it was just the two of us walking through a grassy meadow field. We came upon a spot where lanterns had been set in the trees and candles set upon a small table which had a scrapbook laying upon it. I continued to walk straight up to the small table, not noticing Niall had stayed behind. I began looking through the book filled with pictures of the two of us throughout the years. I smiled flipping through each page.
"What is this Niall?"
I happily asked.
I heard no response from Niall so I turned around to find him standing directly behind me. He smiled as he took a few steps backward. He laughed and lowered his head and put his hands in his pocket.
"You are the most amazing person I have ever met. I can't understand why I've been so blessed and lucky to have you been put in my life. I love you."
Niall said still looking down at the ground with his hands shoved deep into his pocket. He looked up at me. I was frozen with amazement. He looked directly into my eyes.
"You are my everything. You give me more than I could have ever asked for and you're more than anything I could have ever dreamed for. I don't have the slightest idea to even begin to tell you how grateful I am that you are here with me. All I want to do is make you happy. I want to make you feel beautiful, special, and loved everyday for the rest of our lives."
I began to chuckle and tear up at the same time trying to comprehend what Niall was telling me.
He took a step forward and grabbed my hand and bent down onto one knee. He reached back into his pocket and pulled out a little black box. A tear ran down his face. He wiped it away and took a deep breath.
"I would be more than honored and pleased if you continued to make me the happiest man in the world simply by you, keeping me happy and in love. But under one condition, take my last name and become my wife. Will you marry me?"
He lifted the box up to me which presented a huge diamond ring. It sparkled in the lights. I began to cry and managed to spit out...
"Of course. I-I-I love you so much!"
He jumped up and picked me up in his amrs and swung me around in a hug.
I slipped the gigantic ring into my ring finger. It was a perfect fit. I smiled at him and he smiled back. We both wiped the tears from each others eyes and passionately kissed.

Liam and I sat in silence in the dressing room for the longest time.
"You know, we all knew you were the princess Niall waited forever on."
Liam said, looking at me.
I looked down at my ring and smiled.
"He's the prince I've always dreamt of... and more."
I began to feel more at ease.
Just then the head wedding coordinator knocked on the door. She poked her head in.
"Three minutes. Let's head down there."
Liam got up from the chair and helped me up.
"Let's do this."
He said, taking my arm and interlocking it with his.
I couldn't stop smiling as we walked to the beginning of the isle. The music began to play and all the guest stood up and turned around. I began to feel nervous and scared as I saw all the face looking right at me. About half way down the isle is when I finally saw him. My prince in a fitted black suit. He looked directly into my eyes and all of a sudden I felt as if it was only the two of in the world. He smiled and I smiled back. With each step getting closer and closer to him I began to feel more at ease. I starred at nothing and no one but him and just before I reached the platform to stand with my groom he mouthed the word "forever."
